We are transforming the former Vila Cova de Alva Primary School , in Arganil, into a unique space that unites NATURE, ART, COMMUNITY and TECHNOLOGY.
We are currently restoring, organizing and cleaning this historic building , which has been inactive for over 50 years.
Soon, we will have Coworking Spaces dedicated to those who work with Art, Nature and Technology , an Audiovisual Studio , an Artistic Hub, Community Library ,
workshops, artistic projects with the community, cinema sessions, among many other activities!
Get ready to be inspired by Nature, breathe the fresh mountain air and enjoy the welcoming charm of this peaceful village, part of the Schist Villages .

SOLcowork is a coworking project and an artists' hub , located in a primary school , which has been closed since the 90s, in Vila Cova de Alva, a village located on the slopes of Serra do Açor, near Serra da Estrela, focused on Art, Nature and Technology.
We are a collaborative space created to inspire and welcome local artists who share our vision.
We promote a fertile environment for the creation of artistic projects that engage with the community, the environment and the territory.
At SOL, we believe in the transformative power of Art as a tool to cultivate environmental awareness, strengthen community ties and imagine new ways to regenerate the relationship between Humanity and Nature.
